First-run setup, path rules, TRFile, Alone.ini, screen conditions, antivirus checks, and connection troubleshooting in one page.

01

Check environment first

Most startup failures are path, permission, resolution, or scaling mismatches, not core feature bugs.

02

Keep configuration strict

TRFile must be a full executable path, and Alone.ini updates require full restart.

03

Troubleshoot by condition

Waiting state and no-action issues usually map to screen condition, config format, antivirus, or network causes.

FOUNDATION

Before start and first use

Confirm first-run expectations before treating the tool as broken.

01What does AloneAIOR do?

It automates repetitive workflows with screen-state reading, policy-based decisions, and controlled execution flow.

  • Automated launch and workflow orchestration
  • Screen-state checks before action
  • Reduced repetitive manual operations
02What should I do before first use?
  1. Move game files into a clean path.
  2. Confirm the executable location is correct.
  3. Run launcher with administrator permissions.
  4. Complete first-time authorization and restart.

CONFIGURATION

Paths and config files

Path and config format integrity are the baseline for stable startup.

03How should TRFile be filled in?

TRFile= must include the full executable path and filename.

TRFile=C:\Talesrunner\talesrunner.exe

Avoid folder-only values and paths with unsupported symbols.

04Why are Alone.ini changes not applied?

After each config edit, close and restart the main program so old settings are not reused from memory.

RUNTIME

Startup, waiting state, and no-action checks

Use this checklist when execution does not progress after launch.

05What causes waiting state or no action?
  • Incorrect TRFile path
  • Game resolution not set to 1024x768
  • Windows display scaling not at 100%
  • Game window hidden, covered, or full-screen
  • Main program not started as administrator
06How do I avoid common first-run failures?

Keep one stable folder layout, do not edit config with rich-text editors, and retry only after a full restart.

NETWORK

Antivirus and connection checks

Security software and network filtering can block downloads or runtime dependencies.

Antivirus

  • Temporarily whitelist the program folder and executable.
  • Re-run launcher and main program after whitelist update.

Network

  • Retry with a stable network without restrictive proxies.
  • Check local firewall and ISP-level filtering when downloads fail.

Support handoff

  • Capture the exact error text and timestamp.
  • Provide current TRFile and critical environment settings.
